The race for capital (the other out-of-box economic arguments) is my third book and an aggregation of some my most important economic and financial thoughts in recent times, as distilled from my weekly column and elsewhere. The book’s title derives from the biggest economic argument of the day – the problem of inequality – which has finally been noticed by important economists around the world but to which no solution has yet been found.

In this book, that argument is further advanced and an African perspective is added, because whenever important economic arguments such as this goes on, that most-vulnerable continent does not feature in the analysis. But the perspective of this book is not all about complaining about the state of Africa and its position development-wise, but also on solutions. Some germane solutions are hereby offered for African economies especially but every other economy around the world which seeks to reposition its people and make a dent in these hard-to-solve quagmires facing the world today. There are no simple solutions apparently.

Throughout history, God has never worked without a vessel. From Moses to Mary, John the Baptist to Paul, every divine move begins with a chosen instrument. In this powerful book, discover how God selects and prepares vessels for His work and how you, too, might be one. Are you ready, willing, and available for God’s use in this generation? Dive in and discern your season, your calling, and your purpose. But there’s more being chosen is not random. It is intricately tied to understanding times and seasons. Like a divine equation (E = F(T, S)), everything you will ever experience is a function of time and season. You can’t skip the process. You can’t reap without planting. You can’t be used until you’ve discerned your moment.

What They Won’t Teach You About Nigeria’s Economy

This book is a collection of my thoughts around the Nigerian and global economy. Many of the writeups here have been published but some have not. I believe that beyond being available online and on different platforms it is also good to document them properly as book.

I have been consistent in pushing some ideas over time and I have defended those ideas even if they don’t conform with orthodoxy. I believe firmly that orthodoxies were put together for unique environments and assumptions that may not work elsewhere.

I believe that we should not be intimidated in stating our observations and positions and in questioning what has become ossified in many minds. This is how bodies of knowledge have grown over eons, about just any discipline on earth.

You Better Tell Your Side Of The Story

This is my self-written autobiography. There are no set rules in my opinion about the age in which someone should write about one’s life.

However, this is my own way of showing gratitude to God for sparing me thus far. Many have gone. Many are incapacitated. I believe that human beings have come to take too many things for granted but I will never be one of those. I urge as many people to also reflect on their lives and count their blessings.

It is certainly not about successes and failures. It’s about the uniqueness of every life. If every living being could write about their lives from their own unique perspective, the world will be a much wiser space.
